Day 1: Marrakech – Telouet – Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – Ouarzazate

Depart around 7:30//8:00  AM towards Ait Benhaddou, crossing the high Tizi

n’Tichka pass (2260 m). Enjoy a coffee break on the way before reaching

theTelouet Kasbah, one of the Kasbahs of the Glaoui dynasty. Lunch on-site, then

visit the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After the visit,
head to Ouarzazate. If you wish, visit the film studio in Ouarzazate before
checking into the hotel.

Day 2: Ouarzazate – Agdz – Zagora –M’hamid (Gateway to the Moroccan Desert)

Depart for M’hamid,
passing through Agdz and crossing the Tizi-N-Tifntit pass (1760 m). Continue to
Agdz with a panoramic view of the Draa Valley. Then proceed along the valley to
Afraa. Lunch in Zagora, followed by a stop in Tamgroute to visit the Quranic
library, the underground Kasbah, and pottery workshops. Finally, continue
towards the desert. Arrive in M’hamid and spend the night at a desert camp.

Day 3: M’hamid – Erg Chegaga (Sea of Sand in the Moroccan Desert)

Depart in a 4×4 vehicle in the afternoon from M’hamid, the gateway to the
Moroccan desert, to Erg Chegaga. Cross the entire Lbour Erg and the Draa
Hamada, then visit the Sacred Oasis to reach the Chegaga dunes by late
afternoon. Dinner and overnight at a wild camp in the Erg Chegaga dunes, the
sea of sand.

Day 4: Full Day at Erg Chegaga in the Moroccan Sahara Desert

Take a camel ride and then depart in a 4×4 towards the Sacred Oasis. Lunch
either in an oasis or with the nomads. Return to the camp in the afternoon for
the night at the bivouac in Erg Chegaga, the sea of sand.

Day 5: Erg Chegaga – Lake Iriki – Tata Oasis

Depart in the
morning towards the Tata Oasis, crossing the dried-up Iriki Lake and the fossil
plateau. Stop for photos at the Moroccan desert “Colorado.” Continue to the
Tata Oasis and spend the night at a hotel after a coffee stop in Foum Zguid.

Day 6: Tata Oasis – Ighrm – Tiout Oasis

After breakfast, depart for the Tiout Oasis via the Anti-Atlas mountains and
continue through the Takmout oasis with beautiful regional landscapes. After a
lunch break, proceed to the Tiout Oasis near Taroudant. Dinner and overnight
stay with a local host.

Day 7: Tiout Oasis – Taroudant – Asni – Marrakech

Depart after breakfast on a mountain road. Cross Berber villages and enjoy
beautiful landscapes where you may see goats climbing argan trees. Make photo
stops and have a meal break before returning to Marrakech in the afternoon.
